Description:
This class is designed for electricians or electrical engineers to gain comprehensive knowledge of residential wiring, focusing on key NEC Articles 110, 210, 220, 230, 240, and 250. Participants will learn essential techniques and code requirements for safely wiring and protecting residential electrical systems. Topics include general wiring methods, branch circuits, load calculations, service entrance requirements, overcurrent protection, and grounding and bonding. Electricians will acquire the skills needed to install code-compliant systems that meet both safety standards and the needs of modern homes.
Instructor: Michael Connor
Michael is a highly accomplished Master Electrician with hands-on experience in the electrical trade. In addition to mastering the technical aspects of the field, he has spent many years teaching and mentoring apprentices, journeymen, and seasoned professionals. Michael’s unique combination of real-world expertise and proven teaching ability ensures students gain not only the knowledge but also the practical skills needed to succeed in today’s electrical industry.
Requirements to attend a live webinar:
You will need a smartphone, tablet, laptop or desktop computer to view it. If using a smartphone or tablet, it is best to have the app for the program on your device (i.e. Zoom, GoToWebinar).
To verify your continued attendance during the class, you will need a microphone, webcam or the ability to type into the program’s live chat.
Instructors or school personnel will take attendance periodically throughout the class.
Instructors may call on participants.
To verify attendance, a code word may be given sometime during the class.
You will be required to complete and return an evaluation after the course has ended. The evaluation may ask what code word was given.
You may not receive your Certificate of Completion if we cannot verify your attendance.
Webinar invitations are emailed to registered students approximately one day prior to the class.
Certificates of Completion are emailed to students approximately 5 business days after the course for those attending as a Live Webinar
