Course Description
Like it or not AI (Artificial Intelligence) is coming on strong in several of the Construction trades. It is recommended that both new and older skilled tradespeople to be included to learn and adapt to the new AI applications. At present, project take-offs and estimation presentations to your clients are being made available from techware companies in most trade categories. At present, there is robotic equipment for a few trade categories to be used on-site. Think about all the robotic applications that will be utilized in the electrical industry.

Objectives
Upon completion of the course, the participant will be able to understand the changes regarding what will be needed from their employees and applied in their new daily tasks. The Electrical Contractor will have the possibilities of describing to both their administrative and field staff on the systems that can be adapted to. With the systems that are moving to the forefront from the Electrical manufacturers nearness in AI, the Electrical Contractor can better grasp and perform the communication to their employees of its advanced role in their company. The Electrical Contractor can best identify the task categories that (s)he would like to adapt AI to for more efficiency

- Administrative actions for AI Bids & Takeoffs / Permit process assistance
- Wearable devices for the workers will assist in their day-to-day tasks
- Bending pipe / pulling cable eventually with AI performing future installations
- Project Managers utilizing AI interfacing for Electrical projects and scheduling
- Will it become an NEC Article of the NEC-under Supervision?
- Utilize Photos and graphs available so to provide a present / future usage of AI
Instructor
Shawn Gianella is a former multi tradesman who owned his service and contracting business for close to 3
Decades. He was one of the youngest Electrical Inspectors in the State at the time. He started teaching in the 80’s
and 90’s part time in public and private VoTechs. He emphasized the proper training of new workers and
apprentices as a consultant for a trade publication in the early 90’s. He instructs with old timer solid methods in
keeping one’s mind open and not just as someone writing on how to improve business that never spent a day in the
