This course addresses Ethics from the point of view of presenting examples of real ethics issues. A bit of history is presented as well. A discussion of the various codes engineer’s are subject to will also be mentioned and incorporated into the presentation.
A number of cases will be presented and discussed in the Presentation. From problems with work issues to issues that can possibly get a person into trouble if the wrong decisions are selected to personal issues
Personal ethics will be talked about with a few examples given relating to them. For example what happens when a person is falsely accused or accepts gifts that are of question.
This course is presented to offer solutions to the problems presented, not to indicate the only solution. It also discusses the some overall ethics issues an engineer may face.
