Nate Core Exam

The Core exam tests a candidate’s general knowledge, construction knowledge, and HVACR specific knowledge in the areas of:

• Safety
• Tools
• Basic Construction
• Using Basic Science
• Achieving Desired Conditions
• Taking Temperature and Humidity Measurements
• Basic Electrical

This computer-based exam is administered at our school. Once you pay for the sitting fee, you will be contacted to set an exam date.

You will be allotted 1-1/2 hours to complete this exam. This exam is given in both English and Spanish; unless you specify, you will be given the English version.
