Learning Objectives: Upon completion of this program, the participant will be able to:

• Understand the cause of the “Shingles” Herpetic Virus
• Be able to identify what the virus looks like vs. other rashes or skin conditions
• Be familiar with the duration of the virus and the diagnosis techniques available
• The prevention and management of this virus

Course Description:

This program will discuss the causes, symptoms, diagnosis, duration, and current treatment options of the Herpes Virus, “Shingles”.  Most of the time we hear about  “Shingles” is a TV commercial about current vaccine options.  This course will go into depth about the virus and how prevalent is really is. What do the symptoms look like, how to identify if you have shingles vs. other rashes, what your prevention and treatment options are.  This program is a must for everyone to understand, properly diagnose, and treat this virus.
