COURSE DESCRIPTION:
This engaging and informative seminar takes a holistic approach to understanding how food directly impacts our overall health. It emphasizes that we cannot solely rely on medications to address health issues while neglecting the powerful connection between the foods we eat and our state of well-being. Attendees will explore how the foods we choose to nourish our bodies play a crucial role in inflammation, the nervous system, healing processes, weight management, gut health, and sleep quality.
Included in this comprehensive webinar are:
- A thorough review and education of the top food choices that shape our diet and impact our health.
- Insight into how the sourcing of food—from farm to table—can alter the nutrient profile of the food we consume.
- An exploration of the various ways food influences not only our physical health but also our mental and emotional well-being, contributing to a holistic understanding of health.
- A discussion on how symptoms of disease (or “dis-ease”) are often rooted in the food choices we make, and how addressing dietary habits can help prevent or alleviate chronic health conditions.
- A review of how nutrition myths can change in our culture while functional nutrition remains the same.
