Course Objective – This course will outline basic DC electrical theory and components used in the installation of intrusion alarm systems, fire alarm systems, access control systems and other low voltage systems. This may be a refresher course for some as we will cover basic Ohm’s law, voltage drop calculations, series and parallel circuits and other pertinent topics.
Student should bring a calculator and be ready to perform mathematical operations

Requirements to attend using the live webinar option:

To verify your continued attendance during the class, you will need a microphone, or the ability to type into the program’s live chat.
You will need a webcam
Instructors or school personnel will take attendance periodically throughout the class.
Instructors may call on participants.
To verify attendance, a code word may be given sometime during the class.
You will be required to complete and return an evaluation after the course has ended. The evaluation may ask what code word was given.
You may not receive your Certificate of Completion if we cannot verify your attendance.
