Treating the Biomechanical Chain-Lower Body

SKU: N/A Categories: ,

This is a LIVE in-person class. You may also want to consider taking Treating the Biomechanical Chain-Upper Body on the same day. Those who stay for both will receive reduced tuition.

The course is approved for 3 CE Credits for massage therapists and chiropractors.*

Educate your clients/patients to be active participants by explaining how body parts work individually and in conjunction with the body as a whole, showing them what musculoskeletal imbalances they are experiencing, how imbalances effect muscles and soft tissue and talking about how to overcome the imbalance.

This class will cover verbal and visual assessment of the lower body biomechanical chain—foot to hip—and how to address possible faults and eliminate sources of pain through guided stretches and exercises. Identify common deficits that cause pain in the lower body.  Take into consideration past injuries and surgeries, level of physical activity, and much more.  Hands-on learning includes myofascial self-massage, stretching, and strengthening exercises.
