Somatic Mindfulness is recognized as an application of Switzerland’s Trager Therapy principles to complement massage therapy and bodywork techniques. In Switzerland, Trager Therapy is an official method of Complementary Therapy.
Somatic Mindfulness workshops elevate therapeutic massage by seamlessly bridging somatics and bodywork and embodying trauma-informed knowledge. Learn strategies to prevent burnout and reduce the risk of injuries, preparing clients/patients for deep work with ease. Delve into somatic touch skills, harnessing mindful awareness for enhanced therapeutic efficacy. The method inherently supports self-care, ensuring career longevity.
Somatic Mindfulness – RADIANCE is an 8-hour live continuing education course that explores how attuned touch can support natural lightness and clarity, particularly through work with the neck, head, and face. The course presents an integrated approach to understanding how these areas influence whole-body organization and expression. Participants will learn how precise, minimal intervention can invite an upward flow of energy and natural ease throughout the body’s systems. The course emphasizes the development of refined palpation skills and practitioner presence while introducing specific approaches that support both client transformation and practitioner sustainability.
Through experiential learning and guided practice, practitioners will develop skills for recognizing and supporting natural patterns of upward organization, understanding the relationship between cranial-cervical freedom and whole-body expression, and implementing precise interventions that honor the body’s inherent wisdom. The course bridges theoretical understanding with immediate practical application, supporting practitioners in developing both technical proficiency and intuitive awareness.
