LEED Green Associate Prep course – This course will prepare participants to take the exam for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Green Associate Exam. Topics include sustainability assessment concepts, LEED accreditation and certification processes, project scoring, and individual credit areas.

The LEED Green Associate is the first of two stages of accreditation put forth by the U.S. Green Building Council, intended to train
personnel to assess the sustainability of building projects to be LEED-certified. As per the USGBC, the credential is “[a] foundational professional credential signifying core competency in green building principles.” “[t]he LEED Green Associate exam measures general knowledge of green building practices and how to support others working on LEED projects. The exam is ideal for those new to green building.” The exam, which is administered electronically at test centers throughout the country, is arranged through the USGBC itself, and “[t]he exam is two hours long and has 100 multiple-choice
questions.” Although there is no experience or training requirement, the USGBC recommends “that you have exposure to LEED and green building concepts through educational courses, volunteering or work experience prior to testing.”

After you register you will receive a link for the Zoom platform
