This is a LIVE in-person class. It is approved for 4 CEUs for Chiropractors and for NJ Massage Therapists. *

Forearm Massage (or “Hands Off Massage”) allows experienced professionals the ability to use their forearms to save their hands from overuse. Using the forearms to preserve one’s hands allows deep work with less wear and tear on the practitioner. Techniques will include a variety of hands-off methods. The course will give an example of a routine using forearms, but is aimed at allowing professionals to adapt forearm massage to their own routines and styles.

Learning Objectives

Upon completion of this class, the participant should be able to:

  • Explain problems that can occur from overuse of the hands when performing massage techniques
  • Demonstrate body mechanics of using forearm massage
  • Demonstrate techniques for the back and neck
  • Perform techniques for arms and legs
  • Explain how forearm massage feels when receiving treatment.

Students should dress comfortably and bring a fitted sheet as well as a flat sheet and a towel for draping. Massage tables will be provided.
