Course Description
Participants will gain knowledge on safe electrical practices, code compliance, and emerging technologies in electrical installations.
This 6-hour course provides electricians with an in-depth review of NEC Article 590 on Temporary Installations and Article 625 on Electric Vehicle Power Transfer Systems. Participants will learn how to apply code-compliant methods for temporary wiring, lighting, and power setups while ensuring jobsite safety. The course also covers the design and installation of EV charging systems in accordance with NEC requirements, emphasizing safe electrical practices, hazard prevention, and the impact of emerging technologies on modern electrical installations.
Course Objectives:
Upon completion of this course, participants will be able to:
- Understand and apply NEC requirements for temporary wiring and lighting installations.
- Identify code-compliant methods for safe temporary power setups in various jobsite conditions.
- Interpret and implement NEC Article 625 requirements for Electric Vehicle (EV) charging systems.
- Demonstrate knowledge of safe electrical practices and hazard prevention in temporary and permanent installations.
- Recognize emerging technologies in electrical systems and their impact on safety and code compliance.

Emmanouil (Manny) is an Experienced and licensed Master Electrician and Electrical Contractor with over 25 years of
practical experience in the electrical industry, including residential, commercial, and industrial
systems. Proven ability to lead large-scale installations, ensure code compliance, and manage
teams of electricians and apprentices. Recognized for technical precision, reliability, and strong
partnerships with local building departments and contractors. He also holds multiple licenses which include: Master Electrician, Home Improvement Contractor, Generac Certified Dealer and Service Installer, and Security or Fire Alarm Systems.
